Back with a Bang
A regular talking point on the exhibition circuit, Setna iO’s winged camper van made another appearance in Europe at this year’s Amsterdam show.
“MRO Americas next year is in Chicago, our hometown, so I’d like to see a homecoming party for it before taking it to our new facility,” said Tom Boulcott, managing director of Setna iO.
Boulcott was speaking shortly after his stage debut in the conference hall, presenting Setna’s PBH support platform.
“Otherwise, I’ve not been able to leave the stand!” he joked. “But that’s just how it goes sometimes – the show’s been amazing and the industry is definitely back with a bang.”
That sentiment was shared across the halls, as companies sought to bolster their presence and cement client relationships.
“There are tons of European airlines here and we’ve been able to meet some great contacts and potential business opportunities,” said Daniel Hall of Omni Logistics, a California-based global transportation services provider.
“We’ve made lots of interesting contacts with airlines and MROs,” agreed Nerea Anuncibay of Spanish aerostructures specialist Aernnova.
“It’s our first time exhibiting since the pandemic and we’ve had more visits this time.”
