StandardAero is now inducting CFM International LEAP engines! In March 2024, StandardAero’s 810,000 sq. ft engine overhaul center in San Antonio, TX, commenced LEAP inductions for Continued Time Engine Maintenance (CTEM) workscopes, including high-pressure (HPT) shroud replacements. This achievement comes exactly one year after the company signed the first North American non-airline CFM Branded Service Agreement (CBSA) for LEAP-1A, which equips the Airbus A320neo family, and the LEAP-1B, which powers the Boeing 737 MAX family. StandardAero is scheduled to introduce functional and performance LEAP engine testing in mid-2024, with LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B Performance Restoration Shop Visit (PRSV) capability following by the end of the year.
