MRO Europe Storms London
More than 11,300 attendees, including 1,200 airlines and lessors, made it the largest MRO Europe on record, 20% bigger than the previous edition in Barcelona.
Among the 630 exhibitors were new faces like Executive Jet Support, a commercial aircraft parts provider investing in a stand for the first time.
“It's been a great experience, great location, lots of traffic – there's so much engagement here,” commented Marc Browse, director of the company.
Others are long-term fixtures, notably Jordan Airmotive, whose distinctive double-deck stand greeted entrants to show. Chief Marketing Officer, Tambi Varouqa said the company may go even bigger next year, citing strong opportunities for new business out of Europe.
“We trust Aviation Week as a reliable partner and that’s why we always aim to be gold or platinum sponsors.”
Smaller exhibitors also enjoyed the show. “We've always found that there's a lot of foot traffic, regardless of the size of the booth,” said Chaz Bonner, a Marketing Executive for software company Tracware. “It’s easy to maintain, easy to control. We like building relationships and it helps that we have a lot of clients that are walking around on the floor.”
All that walking adds up to a hefty step count, but relief was at hand in the frequent flyer lounge, a new feature of the show that offered repeat attendees a chance to enjoy plush armchairs, quality coffee and free massages.
As ever, there was also plenty of refreshment on the stands themselves, from chic bar areas to tricked-out camper vans and even a passable replica of a traditional British pub.
Dutch maintenance company Samco was one of many to upgrade its presence this year, investing in a larger stand and heavier marketing. “People notice us, which is the result you want and indicates we’ll do the same again next year. And because it’s bigger we have more space to hold numerous meetings at the same time,” said Marcel van Schaik, Sales Manager.
Many others also are already planning a return for MRO Europe 2026 in Amsterdam.
“The whole thing has just been rammed. It's all been super positive for us and I can't wait for next year, to be honest,” said Browse.
