Go Live! Draws Crowds for AI and Air Mobility Chats
This has quickly become a popular fixture at MRO Europe, giving exhibition attendees the chance to hear expert analysis of the some of the hot-button issues in aviation and the aftermarket.
Presenting amid the hubbub of the booths makes for a more dynamic experience than the hushed auditorium of the conference, leading to energetic talks and a lively back-and-forth with the close-up audience.
Technology dominated the first day at Go Live!, which kicked off with expert input about the future of electrification. Panelists from air mobility developers Eve Air and EHang outlined near-term developments in electric power while also explaining challenges relating to battery weight, capacity and charging infrastructure.
There was also a timely discussion of MRO's place in future air mobility, with Embraer subsidiary Eve Air on the same day launching Eve TechCare, one of the first new aftermarket services offering aimed at supporting all aspects of daily eVTOL operations.
Continuing the technology theme, the next panel explored the potential of artifical intelligence and machine learning to improve aircraft performance. Business leaders from software developers Aiir Innovations, Armac Systems and Stargazr looked at how these technologies can be incorporated quickly, efficiently and - most importantly - reliably.
